Next Thursday, September 23rd, we are hosting a Sustainable Fashion Entrepreneur Circle for the National Association of Sustainable Fashion Designers & the Sustainable Business Network at SA VA (space is limited, email [email protected] for tix). The event will be a discussion on solving sustainable apparel business issues and a tour of our garment center. Jamila Payne, who is on the Board of SBN Philadelphia and the founder of the NASFD, is organizing a lot of great events this fall and we are always happy to participate. It is a really great thing that Philadelphia is cultivating designers and apparel entrepreneurs interested in environmental and social sustainability.
We were fortunate enough to be featured along with several other very cool local brands with this commitment in the October issue of Grid Magazine. Hopefully we will keep building the momentum and make Philadelphia a hub of socially sustainable fashion.
