Hi Jen! We have black ribbed organic tights that are opaque in the store now! I will check on availability of other colors. Also, we have a cropped pant, that we call summer pant that sits low on the hip it is in a black cotton jacquard and I am wearing them today in fact! We also have a regular length straight leg pant that is in a gray wool herringbone that will be in the store by next week, we are just finishing up production on it. As for the tunic, we have our gabby printed tunic, it is a little bit longer than the photo that you sent but it is a cool striped cotton fabric, I will send you a photo of the pants and the tunic later today to your email! oh- and I will definitely add your suggestions to our next line!

Hi, I’ve been searching for the perfect holiday dress, and with Christmas around the corner I need advice fast. Do you have any suggestions on a dress that is versatile enough to go from a work event to a party with friend?

    Thanks!

i love your store! i was just up in nyc and came across this great sweater dress with a scoop neck, front slit pockets, and an awesome back leather tie. the only problem was that it was made out of an itchy wool - i’d prefer a comfy cotton or jersey fabric.

    HI Laura,
Check out the image of the dress attached. It is amazing because it has a jersey top and gorgeous silk skirt. Lattice cutout detail and it looks great on all body types. Here are some links:

    http://shop.savafashion.com/dresses/claire-dress.html/

All in all, whatever you decide to do, keeping it simple is best. Something that is not too complex or over the top and just the right amount of special. Hard combo but I think all of the links above should do well. Thanks!

To lose the last 15 lbs that I want to lose so that I can be happy with myself and find a man. It is time to get my life in order and be a happy person.

My resolution is to tend to my relationships. I became so buried in work, grad school, and daily “tasks” that I forgot to really take the time to see where my family and friends were. This year I want to be closer to them — if not physically then at least in spirit.

This year, my New Year’s Resolution is to worry less and don’t sweat the small stuff (easier said than done sometimes, huh?) as well as Live for the Moment and BE Happy!
Thank you for the opportunity to share and for the GREAT website. I LOVE getting my emails too.

I came into the store yesterday looking for the leggings that are on both of your mannequins. The sale associates were very helpful showing me other cute leggings you carry however because i dress a little more conservative, black stretch leggings hitting close to the ankle are really what i need, are you going to get more of the leggings in that are on your mannequin? those are PERFECT. Thanks!

After my trip to Dominica and experiencing the island’s natural beauty and food, I resolve to bring some of the healthy eating and exercise habits I learned into my daily life. I will do this by making time to exercise everyday by at least taking a walk to absorb the environment around me that I often over look. I will also eat fresher foods; always remembering to give thanks for it and cherish it without over indulging.

I resolve not to resolve anything in 2010! Resolutions never seem to work….too much pressure! I figure I will take it day by day and hopefully improve and become a better me!

Half of my tiny apartment is my beautiful closet, filled with beautiful clothes, yet I wear the same things all the time. This year, I will re-embrace my inner Catherine Denevue and dress like I’m grateful for all that closet space!

I really would like a jumpsuit similar to the one …o.k. exactly the same as the one worn in the Alicia Keys “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart Video”. Can the team at SAVA create this look for me?

Hi Nikki! She always look gorgeous in purple. I will add it to the board in the design studio and see if anyone else is feeling the vibe. We will see if it makes the cut. It could be SA VA. If we get a lot of comments in support of it on the site it would help. We need to be able to sell it! Thanks!

My favorite V-tines accessory is made in Seattle (sorry, but you know my heart is still partially in Philly!) by a local purse/accessories designer - they are dahlias made of felt from recycled soda bottles with vintage buttons, and the money goes to support clean water in Haiti via World Vision. They are on sale through Feb 14 and are for a great cause!

Notes from my closet
The holiday season

December 11th, 2009

The holiday season is really in full swing and there are few nights that don't have multiple events. I hope I can keep the oncoming cold away long enough to make it to all of the parties! While we seem to have the manufacturing under control and are figuring out this retail stuff, I am on to focusing on marketing (AKA my idea of a social life during the business expansion:). Part of that is being out and about, meeting, mingling and building partnerships. (and doing all of this while spending time with friends, really sometimes I can't believe this is my job!)
